WELCOME TO PENNSYLVANIANS FOR HUMAN LIFE BEAVER COUNTY ONLINE!

We are a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to educating the public concerning the value, respect and legal protection for all human life, by providing Pro-Life resources for people seeking answers to life questions, and lobbying for political change and legislation that recognizes the dignity of all human life—perfect and imperfect—from conception to natural death.

The Beaver County Chapter OF PHL was established in April 1988 by concerned area citizens and is a member group of Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, a state affiliate of the National Right to Life which is the only national Pro-Life organization whose Board represents all fifty states. Our chapter also works with Lifeline of Southwest PA, a pregnancy help center located in downtown Beaver that provides alternatives and assistance to women with crisis and problem pregnancies. We believe that all human life is sacred, and that the inalienable ‘right to life’ is foremost of any and all other human and civil rights. Thomas Jefferson stated that “The care of human life and happiness, not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate object of good government.” PHL works to influence public social policy and legislation as it relates to the respect and constitutional protection of ALL human life.

For over 24 years we have served the community through educational inspirational programs as a Pro-Life voice for Beaver County. We host annual events such as the Respect Life Memorial Service, Life Chain [visit lifechain.net for more info] and our summer picnic that sustain our original objective of ‘creating awareness of the effects that legalized abortion has had on our nation and around the world.’ We are currently discussing plans for our 2012 Pro-Life picnic, a ‘lighthearted’ fundraiser with good food and fun for all, and looking for volunteers to lend a hand.
