■ 2015 After Thoughts

“ONCE AGAIN WE GATHERED IN THE COLD OF WINTER TO RECOGNIZE AND REMEMBER THE MILLIONS OF LIVES THAT WERE TRAGICALLY ENDED BY ABORTION…”

For 27 years we have been gathering on the third Saturday of January to remember the preborn children taken from this world by legalized abortion. The Respect Life Memorial Service is a local tradition and testament to the dedication of the Beaver Pro-Life community.

Over the span of 42 years more than 57 million children have paid the ultimate price with their life because of a misguided Supreme Court decision. While the abortion lobby works to erase them from the public’s mind, we have not forgotten, nor refuse to stand by silently and watch this ‘pure evil’ to consume innocent life. Even though future generations may be spared from this injustice, we must continue to remember those less fortunate.

The Respect Life Memorial Service is made possible by the support of our Pro-Life friends, and we would like to thank the following (in no particular order):

Our 2015 sponsors whose financial generosity and personal sacrifice in these difficult times allows us to continue hosting this community event.

Our attendees, the Pro-Life community that we represent, who sacrifice their personal time to show their support. Participants Michael Ciccocioppo (Executive Director, Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation), Abigayle Koller (Rachel’s Vineyard Team Facilitator) , the Beaver Board of Commissioners, Congressman Keith Rothfus, Senator Elder Vogel, and Robert Lizzie for his vocal inspiration. If I forgot anyone, my sincerest apologies!

Our luminary help. A special thanks to Lisa Cahill and crew helped with the luminary set up and lighting! We simply couldn’t have done it without you (at least not withing a reasonable time-frame).

If we failed to mention anyone by oversight, know that you are not forgotten in our hearts and prayersAnd be forewarned that we just may call on all of you again!

See you next January 16, 2016.
